The 2026 AIR CARE Conference, hosted by Angel Flight Central and LifeLine Pilots, brought together leaders from across the public benefit flying community for a full day of meaningful connection, practical learning, and shared purpose.

The day opened with updates from the Air Care Alliance, highlighting ongoing projects and progress across the national network. Attendees then dove into a series of sessions focused on the real challenges and opportunities facing volunteer pilot organizations today.

A standout theme throughout the day was honest, peer-driven conversation. From exploring “The Cost of ‘Free’” and its impact on passengers and coordinators, to dynamic small-group discussions on fundraising, outreach, and sustainability, participants engaged in open dialogue grounded in real experience.

Hands-on discussions explored what tech tools are truly saving time, how organizations can prepare for crises, and ways to strengthen a visible, consistent safety culture. Breakout sessions allowed coordinators and leaders to dive deeper into shared challenges and solutions.

ACA is deeply thankful to everyone who came together in St. Louis for this annual conference. The dedication, energy, and shared commitment to charitable aviation made this year’s gathering truly unforgettable.

A special thank you to our outstanding hosts, Angel Flight Central and LifeLine Pilots, and to our generous sponsors, Flying Angels and Signature Aviation, for helping make this event possible.
